Citizen TV news anchor Yvonne Okwara during The Explainer bulleting disclosed that the government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura had asked for an interview and then skipped and Yvonne fearlessly said that the show has to go on with or without him.

"Here at The Explainer, we had every intention of hosting the government spokesperson Mr Isaac Mwaura. This interview was at his request. Which came late this afternoon, early evening," Yvonne said.

"We granted his request for an interview in The Explainer tonight and this person chooses not to be here to speak to the situation in the country? The Explainer must go on."

Citizen reporter Ayub Abdikadir questioned President Ruto during his US tour about his decision to send troops to Haiti while some areas in Kenya remain under tension owing to banditry.

The question seemed so intimidating to the President since he was in a foreign Country and according to him matters concerning the country should be solved at home.
