Award-winning film Director Phillip Karanja is recuperating from his hospital bed after being hospitalized.
On Wednesday, Phill made it public that all was not well on his side using a cheeky post of the viral song “Anguka Nayo’.
Dressed in hospital clothes Karanja put up a post that says; “Hii pande tumeanguka nayo literally tunatumia one lege 😂😂 #rutomustgo,”.
The message attracted a series of ‘quick recovery’ messages from his fans and fellow celebrities.
However, his close friends Abel Mutua and Njugush used the moment to poke fun at Karanja and his current situation.
Abel used his socials to hint that Phill was playing football when he got hurt ending up on the operating table.
“Boy wenu @phil_director alienda kucheza ball na yuko miaka sabini. Hivyo ndio alijipata kwa operating table akiwekwa chuma kwa mguu. Sasa inabidi avalishwe maSundress like the baddie that he is,” Abel Mutua captioned Phill’s video while in hospital.
Njugush joined the conversation saying; “Happy delivery phil,”.
