Former Sol Generation signee Bensoul has revealed he wrote the now hit song, 'Extra Pressure,' for his then-boss, Bien-Aime Baraza 3 years ago but Bien's song disapproved of it at the time.

Bensoul took the L and held onto the song, patiently waiting for the opportune time to bless the world with his creative prowess.

Fast forward to 2024 and he, with his own record label now Sudah Nation, and Bien got to collaborate on the song which is currently taking over the airwaves.

“Extra Pressure featuring Bien is the oldest song in my new album. We wrote the song three years ago.

It was meant to be on Bien’s album (Alusa Why are You Topless), but his team rejected it because there were so many things he had planned for his first album (as a solo artiste) and they felt Extra Pressure didn’t fit in," the father of one candidly revealed.

Adding, "so when they rejected it, I told Bien, please give me back my song,”

Bensoul ended up saving the song for his first album as an independent artist dubbed 'The Party & The After Party.'

Extra Pressure is track number three in Bensoul’s second studio album which contains 15 tracks. Since its official release just 8 days ago it has garnered over 472k views on YouTube and with close to 10k likes and 533 comments.

It has become a TikTok craze with the track's dance choreography becoming a hit as more and more influencers hop on it. The duo are yet to release a music video for the song.
