Tanzanian star Ben Pol is in the country for a media tour. The 'Moyo Mashine' hitmaker is promoting his latest release 'Kijanisha' which he featured gospel star Christina Shusho, rapper Joh Makini, Frida Amani, Justdiggit and Lead foundation to call on to the public to take action and ‘regreen the earth’.
In a statement, Ben Pol said that "Climate change is affecting us all and we all need to play our part in reducing the impact. Through communication we can create awareness of the effects of climate change and promote nature based solutions that are easily executable by the general public," he said
Led by El Salvador, together with over 70 countries,(Kenya included) the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 2021–2030 as the Decade on Ecosystem Restoration on March 1, 2019.
"We have this decade to cool down the earth and preserve it for future generations," added the singer
