Tanzanian rapper Mwana FA who is also the member of parliament for Muheza has now been appointed by Tanzanian president Samia Suluhu Hassan as the deputy minister of Culture, Arts and Sports.
Mwana FA whose real name is Hamis Mohamed Mwinjuma will be replacing Pauline Philipo Gekul who has been transferred to the Ministry of Constitution and Law.
In 2020, Mwana FA was sworn in, in parliament after winning the Muheza constituency seat.
FA is known for hits like 'Dume Suruali' 'Bado Nipo Nipo' 'Asanteni kwa Kuja' among may others.
