Ugandan legendary star Jose Chameleone, real name Joseph Mayanja has thanked the Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni for clearing his medical bill.

Ugandan media pundits report that the Valu Valu hitmaker had a balance of approximately Ugx 300M (Ksh 11.4 million).

Chameleone confirmed that President Museveni had settled all the bill as the singer had been admitted to a Minneapolis based hospital in July following stomach complication.

He revealed this, moments after he graduated from Cavendish University with a Bachelors Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.

We are stepping out of our familiar routines we are headed into a world filled with endless possibilities.""To all of you that have made this achievement possible, to all of you who have supported me along the way, I extend my deepest gratitude.

After he was discharged from hospital in July, he thanked his family, friends and fans for the support and prayers.

"I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and prayers that I received during my hospitalization. Your kind wishes have truly given me strength through this challenging time.I am now on the road to recovery. "

He added "Thank you Aline Medical Hospital Minneapolis for your significant role in my progress. While my recovery may still require some time and patience, I am confident that I will return to good health soon. God has always been good to me .Thank you all my people."

The news of the Ugandan star's hospitalization was announced by his father;

“Chameleone has been sick in the past months. When he moved to America, the illness became worse. He is now so sick, he is on his sickbed. He has been having complications in his stomach that he is currently receiving treatment for."
