"To say, "I'm proud of you" @waihigamwaura is really an understatement. As I said a few months ago during your career transition, I really admire you. Watching you receive this award - not merely because it's an award but specifically because of what it stands for - simply builds my admiration even further."

"Thank you for standing for integrity and demonstrating your strong values of diligence, honesty and godliness in literally all you do.Thank you for being an example to myself and many others to prayerfully seek God's hand for guidance in everything, to relentlessly pursue truth and justice even when it would be so much easier to turn a blind eye and stay silent, and to wait patiently for the reward of He who elevates men before kings and makes all things beautiful in His time."

Omondi went on to say that Waihiga was deserving of every second of this great honor "Shine on my love ❤️Forever cheering you on as your number one fan."
