Fast rising songstress Dani Dana has released an EP dubbed 'Unsaid.'
The 19-year-old who is a student at the world renowned Berklee College of Music, aims at sharing her talent for storytelling through music.
The EP is a five-song body of work that combines insightful lyrical storytelling with upbeat production derived from the Afropop/Afrosoul genre.
This blend is inspired by artists like Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and Tems and adds a Kenyan touch to the world of Afrobeats with Kiswahili lyrics.
Unsaid is Dani's second release in a span of 6 months, following her first Adele inspired project, The First Cut in August, 2023.
Dani began her musical journey when she started playing the piano at the age of five. However, her achievement in the instrument through recitals in Kenya and Canada as well as advancing in formal accreditations such as the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music were no match for her passion for singing.
She began official training when she was twelve and aims to refine her craft through composition, performance and production.
