Nigerian star Iyanya has released his most anticipated body of work 'Once Upon A Cat.'

The singer described it as a carefully-selected and curation project that caters to a variety of genres, moods and musical tastes. 

The line-up of featured artists highlights a range of new-school artists changing the narrative of the musical landscape including Pawzz, Qing Madi, Dai Verse, Soundz among others.

In a statement, Iyanya said the project is borne from a recording camp he recently organized.

"In the creation of 'Once Upon a Cat,' my inspiration is drawn from the dynamic spirit of the emerging talents. This album isn't solely my narrative; it's a shared tale narrated by 12 remarkable young artists," he said

Adding "Once Upon a Cat' signifies the harmonious collaboration between industry veterans and the new wave, illustrating that when seasoned experience intertwines with youthful innovation, it births genuine masterpieces."

Iyanya is known for his captivating blend of Afrobeat, RnB, and Pop. With a career spanning over a decade, he has made a significant impact on the African music scene.

His journey began in 2008 when he won the inaugural season of Project Fame West Africa, a reality TV music competition. This victory catapulted him into the music industry, where he has continued to shine.
