Jowie Irungu released a worship song on Friday 8th March minutes after his sentencing was postponed to next week Wednesday 13th March 2024.

Last month, Jowie was found guilty of the murder of business woman Monicah Kimani. The Sentencing was pushed next week after Lady Justice Grace Nzioka gave the ruling after establishing that crucial documents that could assist the court reach its final decision in the case had been filed late.

Jowie released a song titled 'I Believe' quoting Psalm 56:3, King James version "What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee."

He went on to advise his fans;

"No matter the storms of life just trust in God He is the only hope. Just believe. May this song minister to all of us. We are in different storms of life but one thing I know for sure, We shall overcome some day."

In the song, he speaks about many dark nights and dark days.

In February, Irungu released another worship song dubbed 'Nakuabudu' after he was found guilty of the murder.

Part of the lyrics go,"Nakubuadu, nakusujudu, ni wewe, Yesu milele....Mikononi mwako Baba narejea...

Miguuni mwako Yesu nalilia....Msalabani nimepona, sitaogopa, unami Bwana, gongo lako na fimbo yako inifariji Bwana...."
