The Season two of hit reality series The Real Housewives of Nairobi, is set to premier in May.

The series makes a comeback after a strong debut in 2023 that saw it break streaming records, with its first episode becoming the most-watched launch episode ever for any title on Showmax in Kenya.

The Real Housewives of Nairobi S1 also won Best TV Show at the recent Kalasha Awards 2024.

Reports have it that Vera Sidika, Minney Kariuki and Dr Catherine will be returning as main casts with rumours of new faces on the show.

Susan Kaitanny has however made a statement revealing that she will not return to the show.

"I was offered a contract for filming of the second season by the producers, and I took my time to think about, reflect & together with my family, concluded that my role as a mother, mentor, and entrepreneur came first, and so I turned it down," she said

Kaitanny added that going back to school for her masters in psychology meant that she had to re- analyze her priorities  "I’ve chosen to step back and refocus my energy on the things that matter most to me and that are dear to me and close to my heart."
