Zari is currently dating 30 year old Shakib Lutaaya, a Uganda national as well.

Zari has been forced to severally defend their romance after netizens blasted her for dating a man almost her son's age.
Zari true to her nature, hit back at such claims saying their love is genuine and younger men are always attracted to her.
The Boss Lady defended Shakib’s age revealing that he was in fact well of age for her. Shakib is 30 years old.
