Genge musician Nonini who recently relocated to the US is dedicating this year's Mashujaa Day to his manager Aleki Boom who survived a grisly accident and his late brother Jude Mwinduko who passed on years ago.

Taking to his Insta stories the veteran artist shared why the chosen two were his Shujaas on this day.

"I want to dedicate today October 20th, 2022 to my 2 brothers. First, My manager @alekiboom (who also sang his first chorus na #Mgenge2ru on the #OneDayAtaTime song.)"  the celebrated artist shared.

He went on to add, "but why? Several weeks back after we shot the Music Video in New York @alekiboom had a freak accident and rolled as you can see!"

Nonini then went ahead to share images of Aleki's Range Rover and how badly it was damaged following the life-threatening accident.

"Secondly the most amazing divine intervention happened(No wonder I don't take for granted coincidences with numbers #M21)

Thank Jehovah (Jah) that @alekiboom walked out of that car without a scratch and we were having lunch in the afternoon thanking God thanking God for the gift of life.

One day at a time, the car will be replaced quick but life is fragile."

Speaking about his late brother, Nonini highlighted that he was celebrating him because he felt his brother was constantly  watching over him.

"The other person I dedicate today to is my late bro Jude Mwinduko because I believe he also played a apart in the divine intervention.

This is because @alekiboom told me when he rolled he was knocked out. Opened his eyes when he was upside down and the first thing he saw on his lap was the picture of my brother that we used in the Music Video weeks back." Revealed Nonini.

He went on to add that the whole experience was unreal.

"I was mind blown. You can't make this shit up. HAPPY MASHUJAA DAY to both my Brothers and all your personal Heroes today in Kenya." Finished off the US-based artists.
