Comedian Njugush has spoken out about his decision to keep his son away from social media.

In a recent YouTube interview, Njugush told Mungai Eve that school has taken the major part of their son's time.

He said most of the content they recorded when they spent a lot of time together at home.

 

"Tugi is not a content creator, we were recording things that he does willingly," Njugush said adding that Tugi's content does not require scripting.

"So until he is doing that, we cannot post anything else."

Njugush added that Tugi comes home very tired and have no much time with his parents.

 

"He is also very busy at school and so when he is home, he just sleep or we are just playing. He cannot just come from school and I start recording him," he said.

Njugush said they are also not under pressure on when to post online.

He said sometimes, there are moments they want to record about Tugi but he refuses.

"We decided to just give him space to be a normal kid. But we have moments we record and that is the beauty of online . If I don't want to post, I just stay silent since there is no pressure.

Sometimes, there are moments we wish we recorded coz he sometimes refuse to say."

Njugush earlier on explained why he decided to put his first born son in the public light.

The father of two told Kulacooler show said at first, they did not want any publicity on his son Tugi but he saw great potential in him.

Tugi has a YouTube channel with over 142,000 subscribers.

"Then again it became hard to do so because in the house whenever I would say something, he would say something else on top of that and what he would say was even funnier than what I said."
