Former Kenyan Cabinet Secretary Dr. Amina Chawahir Mohamed has been installed as the second chancellor for the International University of East Africa in Kampala.
Amina replaced Prof. Emmanuel Mutebile who died last year. She becomes the first woman to ascend the Varsity Chancellor's seat in Uganda.
Speaking after her installation, Amina shared
"To the students, today and tomorrow belong to you. I will do my best to make sure you are equipped with the tools that will magnify and amplify your chances of success in life" says our Chancellor – Amb. Dr. Amina Chawahir.
