Former Migos band member Offset is showing off his new body art which honours slain rapper Takeoff.

Taking to his Instagram page the "Walk It, Talk It," hitmaker posted two pictures of him shirtless showing off his back which he'd turned into a mural of his late cousin Takeoff.

Captioning the picture he revealed he had a large depiction of Takeoff permanently etched onto his back as he sent love to his cousin who was murdered back on November 1st, 2022.

The piece takes up the entirety of the rapper’s back and depicts Takeoff with a halo and floral design encircling his head.

"Love you 4L (for life) and after," wrote the father of 5 accompanying the post with a white love heart emoji, a rocket, and the dove.

The post currently has over 1.6 million likes and over 28.2 thousand comments all from fans and friends pouring their love and prayers.

The police said that the rapper was not involved and was “an innocent bystander”.

He was in the company of fellow Migos member Offset as well as Atlanta based rappers Young Thug and 21 Savage when the incident happened.

The rapper was pronounced dead at the scene, having suffered a gunshot wound to the head or neck. He was 28 years old

During his memorial Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens gave the late rapper, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, the city's highest honour: the Phoenix Award.
