Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and her boyfriend Shakib Cham Lutaaya seem to have officially become husband and wife if the trending online videos are anything to go by.

The two seem to have held a private Islamic wedding known as nikkah

Going by a video shared by Tanzanian blogger Zuma Udako the former wife of Diamond is seen seated as Shakib is giving her a ring at an Islam wedding.

Apparently, the ceremony took place in South Africa

In a video shared online, the two are seen lovingly looking at each while seated on a mat as family and friends look on. They are both wearing traditional Islamic regalia.

Shakib then takes a ring and places it on her finger as she smiles. People on the background cheer on celebrating the two lovers and Zari hugs him as they seal the moment with a kiss.

They later have dinner as a married couple and fist bump to their future life.

In additional videos, the two are seen cuddling in the living room while showing off their wedding rings while in another one they are seen outdoor in the evening having a family photo shoot session.

In case you were wondering, there is nothing in the Islamic culture that prohibits performing marriages at any time of the year, the only restrictions pertain to consummating the marriage at certain terms.

2 months ago the two lovers celebrated their first year together.

Taking to her Instagram page the mother of 5 posted a picture of them out on a date night as she wished him a happy anniversary.

She also went ahead to post a cute video of the two in matching black and white outfits dancing as they had a photo shoot in a carved wooded-shaped love heart covered in flowers.

Followed by another post of the two cuddling as Usher's "There Goes My Baby" played.

"Happy anniversary boo," wrote the entrepreneur accompanying it with several love heart emojis.

Shakib on his part posted a photo of the two sitting on top of Zari's black Range Rover asking people to learn to stop being bitter.

"If you see us happy please let us be." Shakib wrote as he added love heart emojis to the post.
