Mugithii artist DJ Fatxo was seen on Sunday, April 30th weeping uncontrollably while a pastor prayed for him in a church service he'd attended in Kasarani.

The artist is intent on changing the public opinion of him and maintains his innocence in the late Jeff Mwathi's death.

Faxto took to his Facebook page to share a 7-minute-long video of him kneeling in front of the altar as the man of God from the Capital of The Kingdom Church, Mwiki prayed for him.

He was rocking a new style with his signature blonde hair locked in neat twists. Alongside him were two women also kneeling at the altar. The two are believed to be his girlfriend and his mom from the side profile and the hairstyles.

The post currently has over 51.1k views and over 1.9k comments with the comments being conflicted between people who believe his innocence and those who think this is all an act.

Faxto accompanied the post with long paragraphs of prayer to God, thanking him for his love, and blessings and for protecting him

"O, heavenly Father, thank you, Lord, for the blessings you have bestowed on my life. You provided me with more than I could ever have imagined.

You surrounded me with people who always looked out for me. You gave me family and friends who bless me every day with kind words and actions. They lifted me up in ways that kept my eyes focused on you and made my spirit soar," part of his message to the Lord on Facebook read.

He finished off by adding, "Lord, teach me to offer you a heart of thanksgiving and praise in all my daily life experiences. Teach me to be joyful always, to pray continually, and to give thanks in all my circumstances."

The DJ has been at the centre of attention after Mwathi mysteriously fell off the balcony of Faxto's 10th-floor house in Kasarani and died on February 2023. Up till now, no arrests have been made.

Mwathi's body was recently exhumed for further probing to ascertain if the young interior designer was sexually assaulted before meeting his untimely death.

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji is awaited to give further directions on the matter.
