If there is something that artist Lil Wayne does not want to play with, it's his health.
In a February interview with Apple this year, the 40-year-old American rapper said that for the past 20 years, he has never eaten food that has been cooked in a hotel, no matter how tight his schedule is!
It's no secret that life on the move can be tough for artists. Between time constraints and moving from city to city, it's hard to find home-cooked food.
However, Weezy found a solution for that. The Louisiana-born rapper never goes anywhere without his personal chef, especially when he's on tour.
During his 'Welcome to tha Carter' music tour in the United States earlier this week, the artist revealed that he had to stop a concert to give time to his personal chef to prepare food for him.
"We were about to eat, and you know, I don't eat fast food from restaurants, so we moved to cook," he said.
"Make sure you eat well and healthily young people but also women."
Several bags of groceries are arranged on the floor along with a small arrangement where his chef prepares food for himself and everyone else on the tour.
While other artists would wait for food as soon as they arrive at the venue, Lil Wayne prefers to have someone take care of the food for him as soon as he gets hungry.
Wayne told Zane Lowe in February that he hasn't touched fast food since he was 19.
He explained that his mother, who was also a chef, encouraged him to eat healthy foods.
"When I was 19 years old, I moved to Miami and my mother is a chef and she was very happy to move because New Orleans is crazy. One thing she wanted me to do was to get a personal chef," he said.
“So from the age of 19 until now, I have always had a personal chef. I haven't eaten any fast food in forever. I don't know what McDonald's smells like." Wayne continued by saying that he does not exercise or hit the gym.
