Motif Di Don calls out Kenyans for opposing the Finance Bill

Kenyan award-winning music producer and sound designer Morris Kobia popularly known by his entertainment name Motif Di Don is urging Kenyans to stop opposing the proposed finance bill.

The music producer took to his Instagram stories to share his thoughts on the bill and why he is pro it.

According to Motif, he has full faith in the government as he claims it has over the years proved it is reliable and its projects are worth it. He highlighted that after some of the projects he has seen come to fruition, it is right to give the government space to do its thing.

"I stopped doubting government projects after Thika super highway, the expressway, and SGR were completed.

What if tulikataa hizo pia?" The producer's Instagram post read.

He went on to ask his over 253k followers what they think about the bill as well as give them 4 choices to vote from to highlight their understanding of the said finance bill.

"Have you read the Finance Bill?" Motif posed the question to his followers.

22% of online users voted that they didn't know what it was all about admitting that they had no knowledge of it or any of its clauses, while 12% revealed that yes they had read the Bill and understood it and all its benefits.

Ironically, 31% of netizens highlighted that the only reason they were opposing the Bill is because former Prime Minister Raila Odinga had said they should.

"Baba alikataa nakataa pia," the said part of the questionnaire read.

Lastly, 34% of netizens voted that they highly felt that the nation did not need the bill at all.
