Eli Mwenda back on screens 2 weeks after unfortunate assault

The content creator had suffered ugly cuts on his face that required surgery to avoid permanent scaring

Digital content creator/ social media influencer Eli Mwenda is finally back online and straight into creating content following his social media break.

Two weeks ago Eli announced he'd be taking a break after he was physically attacked while leaving an event. The attack saw his face slightly disfigured thus he couldn't be in front of the camera.

Sharing a video on his page, Eli announced he was finally back as he shared all the tidbits he's been up to while he was taking a breather.

 
 

"Man, its great to be back!" Started off the co-host of Man Talk KE podcast.

Eli went on to add;

"Here’s a little glimpse of what I’ve been up to 🏝️ I’ve had some well overdue alone time to read, binge movies, journal, reflect, meditate, and ultimately breathe. It’s been glorious,"

 
 

Speaking about the incident and his recovery process Eli revealed that his surgery had been a success and his face was slowly going back to normal.

"The surgery went perfectly and my face is nearly back to normal with no permanent scars. We thank God," Eli noted.

 
 

"I can’t express my gratitude for all the beautiful messages I’ve received from during my time off," Eli went on to add.

Finishing up the digital content creator shared a hearty thank you note to all his family, friends, and followers that had taken time off to send him get well soon goodies.

"Thank you to everyone that sent flowers, cards, chocolates, and other gifts. Special shout out to my clients that have been accommodating and extremely supportive, I appreciate you & can’t wait to get creating again! Back to work baby!" The last of his lengthy post read.

Speaking about the assault, Eli said;

"On Sunday night I was assaulted while leaving an event. During the attack, I did not retaliate. This assault resulted in my face being sliced open,"

He detailed that the assault had left him terribly scared and that's why he was taking a break from social media.

"I have had to have surgery to avoid any permanent scaring. It has impacted my work schedule meaning I'll be unable to shoot content until my face fully heals,"Eli announced before going on 'leave.'
