Kinuthia unfazed by online backlash after he attended church dressed as a girl

Digital content creator Kelvin Kinuthia has reacted to the online backlash that has been flying his way ever since he posted a video of him in church while dressed as a lady.

Responding to accusations that he was mocking God, Kinuthia laughed it off highlighting he didn't understand how his worshiping translated to mockery.

"Heehh huku naskia na mock God by worshipping Him (laughing emojis)" started off the digital content creator.

Kinuthia went on to detail that he was currently unbothered by the backlash and online talk as his relationship with God was a personal one.

"Heeh Kenyans! Anyway, let me enjoy my relationship with God (love heart emoji)," the last of his post read.

In the said video the TikTok star who had attended gospel artist Zion Njeri's album launch.

Kinuthia was seen dressed in a gorgeous strapless navy blue shimmer dress with kitenge details at the bottom. Besides the figure-hugging long gown Kinuthia also had his nails done in a brilliant yellow shade, all while rocking a lengthy curly black wig.

 

Captioning the video he revealed how much he enjoyed praising the Lord, something a lot of people apparently didn't know about him.

Following the video a lot of fans shared their displeasure with Kinuthia going to church dressed as a lady when he isn't one. Most felt he'd crossed a line and wondered why he had to cross dress for the event and he wasn't promoting anything.

The comments calling him out ranged from outright rudeness to threats of eternal condemnation and hell fire, all of which the YouTube content creator maintains don't faze him as at the end of the day only his personal relationship with God matters.
