American award-winning rapper Cardi B has been cleared of any criminal charges after she hurled a microphone at a fan.

The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker was facing criminal battery investigation after a concert goer launched claims against her.

A week ago, Cardi went viral for forcefully throwing her mic at a attendee who splashed her with a cup full of clear liquid (suspected to be water) and ice on her while she was on stage performing.

She appeared to yell at the person as security jumped into the crowd and removed the woman from the audience.

But now, reports highlight the mother of 2 is in the clear and won't be required to attend any hearing or pay the individual who had launched the charges against her as the case has been dropped.

However, according to TMZ they had a talk with her lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld and the 3 attorney's confirmed that there were no charges against their client.

"This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept., that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi.

On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept's diligent and prompt resolution of this matter." Cardi's lawyers, , told American entertainment outlet.

As you know, Cardi was performing at Drai's Beachclub last Saturday when she asked the crowd to splash water on her to cool her down in the burning Vegas heat ... but when someone threw a cup with an unknown liquid and ice, she hurled the mic at the person.

It ricocheted and hit another person, who filed a police report.

Cardi was then listed as a battery suspect but the case has gone nowhere. It was never ever referred to the D.A. The cops concluded Cardi did not commit a criminal offence.

The suspect, Nicolas Malvagna, is currently facing misdemeanour charges of harassment and assault.

The rapper isn't the first to have objects hurled at her while on stage, and I'm not talking about the fun or lol type of things such as bras and flowers, we're looking at weird and probably harmful objects.

So her fighting back instead of walking off stage was kind of a boss babe move.

Cardi B joined singers like Harry Styles, Bebe Rexha, Kelsea Ballerini and more who have had objects thrown at them during recent events.

In June, singer Bebe Rexha needed stitches after a fan threw a phone at her during a concert, leaving her with a bruised and bloodied eye. In yet another macabre incident, a fan threw a bag of her mother’s ashes at rock/pop-star princess Pink.
