Kourtney Kardashian narrates life-saving surgery to save newborn

Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that she recently underwent a life-saving surgery for her and punk rock musician Travis Barker's unborn child.

Taking to her Instagram page the mother of 3 shared an adorable picture of her and her husband Travis holding hands next to her bulging baby bump.

In the photo, Kourt's hand was slightly bandaged with a pipe going through it.

She went on to pour her heart as she expressed her immense gratitude to doctors for saving their baby's life.

"I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterward, my rock," started off the fitness and healthy living enthusiast.

Kourt's husband, Travis was on tour in Europe with his band, Blink-182. Last week the band announced they had to postpone their Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin tours as Travis had to rush back home in the US over a family emergency.

In her lengthy post she went on to add;

"And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this. As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.

I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant," added Kourtney.

Finishing up she went on to announce that everything was okay and she still had her baby boy safely in her belly.

"Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing. 🙏🏼🤍," the last of her post read.

Kourtney, who shares three children with ex Scott Disick, earlier this year publicly announced her pregnancy at a Blink-182 concert.

In June, the reality star, who married Barker last May, posted an Instagram video showing her holding up a sign at his band’s LA gig saying: “Travis I’m pregnant.”
