Comedian Eric Omondi has appealed to Kenyans to help fellow artist Peter Wangundi aka Alpha Mwana Mtule with the huge bill he has with Kenyatta National Hospital.
In his statement on Monday, the comedian who is also heavily involved in activism revealed that despite being discharged from the hospital about a month ago, Mwana Mtule cannot be allowed to go home because of a bill of nearly half a million shillings.
"This family has really been through a lot. TEAM SISI KWA SISI please give it here today," Eric Omondi said through his Instagram account.
He added, "He was discharged from the hospital about a month ago but he is being detained here because of an unpaid bill of Ksh450k, we can extend these hours so I can go and get him to go home and not eat Christmas here.

In the video, Mwana Mtule was seen walking with difficulty but noted that he feels better and is ready to go home.
"This is Mnana Mtule and he is ready to leave the hospital, he has recovered. He is fine. He is placed here over 450,000. Today we're taking him out," Eric said in the video before asking the singer for his phone number.
Comedian Eric Omondi visited KNH hospital after Mwana Mtule appealed to Kenyans to help him pay the outstanding hospital bill.
In his statement, the gospel singer said, "Hello family, I am still locked up in Kenyatta hospital because I want their balance of 450k, I have been released from the hospital, thank you FAM for helping me and we paid them 462k for treatment.

We are currently at 17k. Please, family, help me get out, I have grown up as their prisoner again 🙏."
