Still wrapped up in the festivities of a new year and the joy of a clean slate, more and more public figures are sharing insights in regard to how 2023 was as well as their hopes and aspirations for 2024.
Joining the list is Samidoh's estranged wife, Edday Nderitu. The mother of 3 through her socials opened up on how difficult the year that has passed was to her but she is more than grateful that God held her hand through it all.
Despite the year dealing her rotten cards, Edday reminisced over the beautiful lesson that it has taught her and all the splendour that comes with it.
"Looking back at 2023, it was a year of ups and downs, but one thing remained constant: the grace of God guiding my path of life (Psalms 16:11).
I discovered the importance of self-love and the beauty it brings," part of Edday Nderitu's new year post read.
She went on to highlight how grateful she was to see a new year as well as publicly share her prayer request to God.
Edday in her post asked people to create a path and get ready for all the greatness she was about to unleash as she was not playing with/about herself this year.
"Now, as 2024 unfolds, my heart is filled with gratitude, I am grateful for the lessons learned and eager to experience personal growth, seek knowledge, and nourish my soul with happiness. Get ready, because greatness," Edday wrote.
Finishing up, Edday added a bible verse to guide her throughout the year and reassure everyone else who was in a path similar to hers.
"John 1:16 AMP. For out of His fullness, we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing], favour upon favour, and gift heaped upon gift.

2023 rocked Edday's marriage of decades to Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki popularly known as Samidoh.
Samidoh's public relationship with his baby mama, nominated senator Karen Nyamu drove a rift between him and his high school sweetheart Edday, forcing the latter to pack her bags and their 3 kicks relocating to America.
Interestingly, Samidoh's other woman in her post ushering in the new year noted that 2023 was beautiful and beyond amazing and she couldn't wait to see what 2024 had to offer.
