Veteran Jamaican dancehall star, born Garfield Delano Spence popularly known as Konshens has asked people to debunk the notion that they need America and other European nations to prosper.

He said this while sending love to his favourite East African country Kenya.

In a post across his socials, the 39-year-old recording and performing artist highlighted that East Africa, especially Kenya has his heart due to the immense support they have always shown him throughout his career.

Konshens revealed the overwhelming support shocks him as well at times as he feels he has never done anything warranting that kind of love. Joking that that kind of love should be studied and analyzed.

"Why do I show so much love to East Africa? Because East Africa shows me unconditional love for so many years for FREE!!

Even when I stay away for years, even when I'm not dropping new music... it's a strange love that should be studied lol," part of the 'Gal a Bubble' hitmaker's post read.

He went on to acknowledge that Africa as a continent was steady rising with too much greatness to offer and he is more than willing to do everything in his might to see his East African gang on the map.

"Africa is booming, East Africa should be a part of that boom, whatever i can do to help that I'm down," the artist who was recently in Kenya after a successful music video shoot with KRG the Don stated,

Finishing up he reminded fellow artists to learn to focus on where the real love is at.

"The next place like that for me is UK. I've never paid any attention to UK, no promo and hardly any shows but they show me madd love always.

"Bruk Off Yuh Back'; is certified there!! Me aggo pull up soon ovah deh a tun up di grung!!

In the west we get so focused on America that we neglect the rest of the world sometimes and that is often where the real love is," the last of his post read.
