TikToker Brian Chira has emerged after a long silence on social media, confessing that he hasn't been mentally well for several days.

Chira, who made headlines last year for his antics on TikTok, went off the grid for a few days, with some speculating that he might have been dealing with depression.

Speaking to YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, Chira admitted that he indeed wasn't mentally well but mentioned that during his social media hiatus, he has been attending behavioral therapy sessions with a mental health professional.

"I wasn't doing well mentally, that's not a lie, and I have been seeing my therapist. Many thanks to them," said Chira.

The young man, who openly admitted to being HIV positive, revealed some of the things he had to change in his daily life routine that have, in one way or another, improved his well-being.

"I have been trying to better myself, self-love first, reducing alcohol intake, taking care of myself like showering twice a day, you know, things like that have made me better," he said.

However, Chira mentioned that his personal growth doesn't mean he will tolerate disrespect, and he will still engage in his usual antics if provoked.

"This Chira still has his antics. If you come at me, even if you are a big shot in the showbiz industry, no, I will come for you too. It's not like I'll keep quiet just because I'm rebuilding myself. If I hear someone talking negatively about me, I will confront them the same way," Chira asserted.

He stated that his comeback in the entertainment industry will be significant, not just on TikTok but also with the launch of his podcast on YouTube.

However, he also mentioned that in his comeback, he won't be able to do his show without sipping at least one drink to ease stress and energize himself for his fans.

"I will come with my content on YouTube, like a podcast, mine won't be calm, I must take a few shots [of alcohol], then we can start the show. You think talking for 40 minutes is a joke; you must take a few shots," Chira said.
