Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai has finally broken the silence over her drunken behaviour at her birthday party which was held on 9th January.
Addressing her behaviour at the party as well as speculations of if she was intoxicated (even though she plays a teetotaller online) as per a trending video that went viral online the 36-year-old revealed that she had been going through a lot which led to her snap.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Anerlisa has shared a lengthy caption where she admitted she had broken her sobriety journey which led to her family and friends freaking out with concern but she was doing so much better now.
"I might trip, but won't fall," stated the Nero Water CEO.
She went on to add that she was back to her 'normal self' as she thanked her inner circle for holding her hand and walking with her through the last couple of weeks as she navigated her issues.
"Was going through a lot the past weeks but I am now back up. The sober Anerlisa is back.

"I Appreciate ALL my friends who came to see me at home, my mother who paused everything to be by my side. My family. My Celebrity friends and everyone who saw me in my condition," part of her post read.
Anerlisa followed this up with an apology as she emphasized that she had not been herself.
"I also apologize to everyone I put through so much . I hope you understand I was not myself. I had to let out everything, and I am grateful I feel the best now

In the said video, the Keroche Breweries heiress appeared heavily intoxicated and could barely stand up straight as she tried cutting her birthday cake while in the company of her two friends Haentel Wanjiru and Lola Hannigan.

She could be heard slurring some illegible words as she waved the knife around before slumping her head down on Haentel's shoulder as the Instagram buddy tried steadying and calming her friend.
Haentel could be seen whispering a few things to Anerlisa as she kept her face poised with her friend leaning on her.
The video quickly gained a lot of negative publicity with netizens calling her out as Anerlisa sells herself as a teetotaller on social media.
Back in 2022 she even made a post urging Kenyans to quit alcohol. However, Anerlisa maintains it was just a slip and is back on the sobriety bandwagon.
