Ciru Muriuki message to Kenyans over their immense love & support after Charlie’s cremation

Established media personality and digital content creator Angela Wanjiru Muriuki, popularly known as Ciru Muriuki has thanked Kenyans for their immense support during this trying time.

Miss Muriuki officially said goodbye to her late fiance Charles Ouda, better known as just Charlie, yesterday evening.

Charlie, who passed away a little over a week ago was cremated on 15, February 2024 at Kariokor Cemetery after a requiem mass was held at at the All Saints Cathedral where family, friends and fans gathered to pay respects and say their goodbyes.

 

At the time of his passing, Charles was 38 years old.

Taking to her Instagram stories shortly after the cremation process of her lover had commenced, Ciru thanked Kenyans for their overwhelming love and support towards her, and Charlie's family.

"Thank you for the love, for loving Charlie. Just...thank you," the former BBC journalist penned.

During Charlie's mass, Ciru highlighted how hard coping with the loss of her would have been husband was. She added that she was however, comforted by the immense love that she has been receiving from the world due to the beautiful life that Charlie lived.

"Since the day you left, I have been in an agony I did not believe possible. You see, baby, we are so inextricably linked. You were in every part of my life, giving me strength, cheering me on, being my rock and the best friend I will ever know.

But I am comforted by your life, and the outpouring of love that has followed your passing. It is a testament to the man you were. A man who loved loudly and unapologetically," a mourning Ciru shared.

Before adding;

"You wore your heart so proudly on your sleeve. You cared so deeply about the people and the things you were passionate about. Your genius bled all through your work, both on stage and off it, as a creator and a mentor. And what a privilege it was to have had a front-row seat to your greatness.

How lucky I was that I got to love and be loved by you. I'm not sure how I will be able to move on from this, but it is the honour of my life to have been yours. Travel safe, my sweet, eternal love. I will love you until I join you," she concluded.
