Kenyan dancehall artist and digital content creator KRG the Don has penned an open letter to President William Ruto asking him to borrow a leaf or two from Tanzania's former leader.

The letter comes in shortly after KRG met Tanzania's former President H.E Jakaya Kikwete while attending Alikiba's 2 decades in music celebration party.

On his Instagram page, the father of 3 shared a short video of him alongside another gentleman as they engaged in a hearty conversation with Tanzania's fourth president Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete who served in office from 2005 to 2015.

The 3 seemed to share pleasantries with Jakaya at some point placing his hand on KRG's chest endearingly, as if giving advice.

Captioning the post, the 'Mambo Imechemka' crooner went on to reveal that he had delivered a message from H.E. President Ruto directly to Kikwete as instructed. Though the nature of his claims remain unverified.

H.E @williamsamoeiruto mimi Kama Msanii wako nilifikisha ujumbe wako kwa Rais (personally, as your artist I delivered your message to Tanzania's former president) H.E Hon Kikwete of Tanzania who happens to love sports and arts.

He has supported his country’s youth for a very long time now even after he retired he has never stopped supporting the youth men of his country," started off the controversial businessman.

KRG went on to add that he had asked for Kikwete's advice highlighting that as a country, more so as East African's we needed his input in order to grow further.

"I also reminded him that we still need his support and advice in matters regarding East African community at Large.

We also talked about our Great Leader RTD Hon Raila as we cracked jokes but on a serious note we discussed about getting his support even though he is retired He influences so many other African presidents.

Ni #Bughaaa Msanii Wa President H.E CGH Dr. William Samoei Arap Ruto," the last of his post read.

KRG's post has elicited a lot of mixed reactions with some calling him out for trying to take Ali Kiba's shine from him by acting as if he was in Tanzania for official business while he was there on the bongo artists invitation while others marvelled at his prowess of ensuring he is seen wherever, whenever regardless.
