Nomination incoming? Femi One super ecstatic after Grammy recognition

Celebrated Kenyan queen of rap and songwriter Wanjiku Kimani popular known by her stage name, Femi One has shared her joy after being recognized by the Recording Academy of the United States musical accolade rewarding section.

Taking to her socials an ecstatic Femi shared what an honour it was for her work to be recognized by the Recording Academy's, Grammy Awards 

Sharing on her page the Kaka Empire signee shared several screen grabs of the Grammy's giving her her flowers. as they celebrated Women's History Month with their theme being; Celebrating Women Changing Music.

Captioning the post Femi Uno noted that the accolades have motivated her to continue pushing her limits in the hopes of bagging a Grammy nomination soon. 

"Still not over this. Imagine your Work being recognized by the GRAMMYS !!! What a WOW!! Let the sleeping masses keep sleeping, we keep pushing the boundaries," wrote the elated 'Balance' hitmaker who broke into the music scene back in 2015 after hoping on the 'Ligi Soo' remix by veteran artist King Kaka.

Femi went on to encourage fellow artists to keep at their craft because you never truly know who is watching or what awaits you. 

"Being recognized is the first step now let’s work for a nomination. We keep working because truly you never know who is watching," added the 'Utawezana' crooner. 

With a musical career spanning 5 years, Femi whose most songs are in Swahili and Sheng has achieved many notable feats such as winning the 2022 AFRIMMA best female rapper award.
