Entrepreneur and car enthusiast Joseph Kairu Wambui, popularly known as Khalif Kairo through a series of tweets has defended himself after some of his aviation transcript started making rounds online.

Kairo who prides himself as a licensed pilot and has on several occasions shared videos of himself in the cockpit flying found himself at the receiving end of trolling and criticism after it was revealed he failed most of his units and had to do several retakes.

Netizens on X, who seem to have taken a huge dislike towards  the father of one due to his stance over the recently concluded protests took to their socials mocking Kairo and his intellect.

Responding to the bullying and speculations behind the legitimacy of his license and competency in the field the businessman argued aviation was not as easy as people assumed.

He clarified that he was not cleared to fly a commercial plane however he had the privilege of being able to fly small airplanes as he was licensed by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) which allows him to enjoy intimate moments with friends and family.

'Flying is not as easy as people make it look. This was last year. It took me three attempts to get my Private Pilot Certificate (PPL) right. Unaanza November, unamalizia July," started off the car imports trader.

Kairo voiced that the hustle however was all worth it.

"But rewards are good. The license I hold allows me to fly with family and friends. What I am testing for now is like a higher level for airline guys," he candidly added.

Kairo's exam results making rounds online show he scored lowly in Aircraft General Knowledge, Flight Performance Planning, Meteorology and Navigation.
