Willis Raburu has announced the rescheduling of his Wabebe show, which has been restructured into a live recording event where fans can purchase tickets to attend.

Raburu explained that the change was prompted by upcoming protests.

"The Wabebe Experience is designed to create unique experiences through interviews, performances, and interactive segments with a live audience. The show seeks to offer an immersive experience for both in-person attendees and viewers at home. By blending entertainment, humor, current affairs, and music, the show aims to engage and captivate its audience," he stated.

Raburu shared that the decision was made in consultation with his team due to the planned Nane Nane protests scheduled just a day before the event. "We've been holding security meetings to prepare for our inaugural recording. Thank you to everyone who has purchased tickets for the show, which was originally set for August 9, 2024."

"Unfortunately, after extensive consultations and considering the heightened emotions and circumstances this week, as well as past experiences with protests, we believe it would be unwise to hold the event on that day. Therefore, we have made the unprecedented decision to reschedule the WABEBE XP LIVE RECORDING edition to Friday, August 30, 2024. We understand this may cause inconvenience, but your physical and mental safety is our top priority. All purchased tickets will remain valid until August 30, 2024."

He also urged his followers to remain vigilant and safe as they exercise their constitutional right to protest.
