Wambo Ashley, the partner of YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, has broken her silence on why they do not feature their housekeeper in their family videos on YouTube.

During a Q&A session with her fans, one follower inquired about why their housekeeper does not have a presence on social media like other housekeepers working for prominent online couples.

According to Ashley, they believe that when a housekeeper is hired, their role is to manage household duties, not to gain social media fame.

"Regarding the platform issue, you know when a housekeeper comes in, they come to handle household chores. They’re not here for us to give them a platform. It’s up to us whether we want to tag them or not," Wambo Ashley explained.

The mother of twins revealed that their previous housekeeper preferred not to be on camera, which led them to assume that housekeepers in general may not want to be featured on camera.

"However, I have no problem giving someone a platform, but based on my experience with my previous housekeeper, she did not want to be on camera at all," Wambo said.

Recently, Kioko and Ashley attracted attention online after rumours surfaced that they were paying their housekeeper Ksh 12,000 per month.

However, the couple dismissed these rumours, stating that they do not know who started the speculation on social media.
