Kim Kardashian has called out tabloids that body shamed her seven years ago when she was pregnant with her first child North West.
The 40-year-old opened up on her Instagram stories. This is after watching "Framing Britney Spears," a documentary by York Times.
She was sympathizing with her on how the media took part in her life.
Kim said during her first pregnancy she was suffering from pre-eclampsia which made her body swell
"I cried every single day over what was happening to my body mainly from the pressures of being constantly compared to what society considered a healthy pregnant person should look like"
She said she was insecure about her body "As well as being compared to Shamu the Whale by the media" she added
Kim revealed that at some point, she was insecure about leaving the house.
"You just never fully know what someone is going through behind the scenes and I've learned through my own experiences that it's always better to lead with kindness"
Kim has three other kids Saint West, Chigao West and Psalm West.
