Wema Sepetu has cited a lack of opportunities as something that has hindered her from going international.
The actress was speaking at the Mjini FM where she answered the question of why she had not taken her bongo movie career to the international stage.
"You thirst to do big things but the access to opportunities at where you are, you are not able to do that," she said.
Asked whether her friends like Diamond Platnumz who've been meeting people internationally have not been helping her, she said;
"I've really tried and sometimes I get demoralized because we as artists don't even love each other."
Adding;
"Maybe they don't think about me. I'm right here but I don't see these things coming, I want these things. I am not a begger. I can never go humbling to people, I don't do that."
Sepetu started off as a model, venturing into the beauty world, and in 2006, she was crowned Miss Tanzania.
She later ventured into acting and has since become a celebrated Tanzanian star.
