Jowie Irungu was in court yesterday for the hearing of the case in which he is accused of the murder of Monica Kimani. And while his friends are pushing for a form of "justice" that remembers that he is innocent until proven guilty, the prosecution argues that he is a flight risk as the charges he is facing are grave:

It should be remembered that at some point, Jowie Irungu was engaged to Jacque Maribe so it would only be natural that the two men, the patriarch of the Maribe clan and young Jowie Irungu got to know each other.
Hopefully, this case will see a swift conclusion and justice will be served for both the brutally murdered Monica Kimani and of course, for the co-accused Jacque Maribe and Jowie Irungu.
