Sauti Sol wasn't born in a day. They toiled night and day to make it what it is today. They took us back to the days when they were still youngsters who were hungry for success and their favourite food joint. They also shared their struggles as they did not have enough to sustain them fully.
They said, "This far we've come, it is only by the grace of God. 🙏. Almost 11 years ago, we used to come to this Kenchic next to KEMU right past Alliance Francaise after practice. Sometimes we could share a plate because we had to save atleast an extra Kes.20 each for traffic rush hours. Especially @bienaimesol used to suffer bus fare hikes the most as he was from Rongai. Today after our band rehearsals and an interview with @cnn at Alliance, we decided to go have lunch at the joint. This brought back deep memories, @bienaimesol got so emotional he decided to buy lunch for everyone in the queue. BARAKA ZAKE HAZIKWISHI #KulikoJana 🙏."
