Kwambox & Kerry discuss after a Principal allegedly caused "protests" for lack of etiquette

On today's morning show, Kwambox and Kerry had a conversation about a school in Migori where students protested over allegations that the Principal was talking rudely to their parents.

“Principal Hana etiquette anaongelesha wazazi wetu vibaya," a student from the school said.

“Princi Hana etiquette, that is Ragana girls secondary school I think in Migori County, on Sunday afternoon they went on strike and they had to close the school indefinitely but for me you know why this clip ready got my attention is Principal Hana etiquette anaongelesha wazazi wetu venye anataka," Kwambox said.

“The comments on that story a lot of people were sharing how principals used to talk to their parents however and it got me thinking, there is a school where I took my niece and it was so bad in that school the principal ndo kusema Kila kitu."

Kwambox went further to explain saying in that school, the principal also disciplines the parents if they fail to do what the school has directed them to do.

She went on and narrated how the Principal of that school was rude to her mother since she didn't keep up with the dates she was told to come to school yet she wasn't even in town. So she was forced to travel to get to that particular school on that day and as a result, both the mother and the student were sent back home.

“This is last year and this is a recent story," Kwambox said.

Kerry didn't seem to be pleased with the whole scenario at all, since he viewed it as total disrespect to a parent who is paying for school fees.

Kwambox then said it seems that power has gotten into the minds of the principals that they forget there are boundaries when it comes to dealing with parents.

“To the parent's kama mtoto ni slow jua hio slowness definitely unakuanga imetoka mbali, eeh sindio, you can't go there and start dissing the kid, you start dissing the parent and most of these things are genetic," Kerry said.
