Davido is set to begin his American tour in March.
He attended the game between Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers at the Capital One arena in Washington DC.
During the game on Feb 22, he received a special shout out that was then posted on the Washington Wizards' twitter page as a retweet from NBA Africa. Most of the fans did not know who he was.
Nigerian fans came out to blast the clueless people asking how they don't know a star such as Davido.
Davido has fifteen million followers on his page.
The Nigerians were quick to answer back to the ignorant Americans. They chastised them with answers as to who Davido really is.
