During the 2021 Grammy Awards hosted by Trevor Noah, Burna Boy was nominated under Best Global Music Album and he won with the album, Twice As Tall.
Sauti Sol was also part of that album so a win for Burna Boy is a win for Sauti Sol which means a win for Africa and definitely a win for Kenya.
This marks his first career GRAMMY win. They are the first winner of the recently renamed category, formerly known as Best World Music Album. Watch his heart-warming acceptance speech.
