This week has many African artistes in a celebratory mood after a few black artistes made it to the Grammys winning list.
Burna Boy was nominated and won under the category Best Global Music Album which meant Sauti Sol also bagged that award as they were part of writing and producing a song, 'Time Flies' in the album.
After the announcement that he won, people were out there trolling Davido. As you know the war has always been who is better among the three. Wizkid Davido and Burna Boy.
With no hard feelings, Davido took to Twitter to applaud his win saying the win means for everyone in Africa.
"Whichever way you look at it, this is a victory for Nigeria for the culture and for my people! Congrats to our winners! Tule Naija! II #Grammys, #foreverchoke." He posted
Davido once said that awards don't really mean you're the best, it is just a form of appreciation.
"I do not think an award should give you validation. There are so many great artistes in the world that do not even have Grammys and deserve them Grammys but an award. An award is an appreciation of your music. I have all the awards but that should not tell you that you are great. I do not believe that but I love when I win."
