On Friday, socialite Vera Sidika threw netizens into confusion when she announced her plans to celebrate her daughter, baby Asia Brown's half-birthday.
Some netizens couldn't understand the whole purpose of the party while some questioned the timing given a half birthday is a day approximately six months before or after the anniversary of a person's birth.
In Vera's case, her and her lover, Brown Mauzo are 2 months late given that the two welcomed their gorgeous daughter back in October 2021.
Announcing the plans, Vera wrote;

True to her word, Queen Vee held an invites only event in honor of her daughter at an undisclosed location in Nairobi.
The white and pink-themed event saw a couple of celebrities all whom are Vera's close friends attend.
Among them included rapper, Barack Jacuzzi and Instagram influencers; Maxwell Mwamburi, and Aziza Frisby.
Vera rocked a gorgeous black dress that perfectly complimented her curvaceous body.
The lady of the day, baby Asia was dressed in a gorgeous little pink dress.
However, Brown Mauzo was conspicuously missing in action. He probably could be away for business.
Vera made it a double event, as she also used the moment to launch what is believed to be a multi-million baby care products for baby Asia Brown.
