It seems close to seven years after finalizing his divorce from reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, former NBA player Lamar Odom still has the hots for his ex.
The basketball player shared how much affection he still has for his ex-wife while talking on his documentary special TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: S3x, Drugs & Kardashians.
A show which focused on their time together from their meeting at an L.A. party to the basketball star's infidelity and substance abuse, which led to their divorce.
While talking about the 38-year-old mother of two Lamar highlighted that a big part of him feels that Khloe is truly the love of his life.
"I think she's like my soulmate... With all those other women I was with, none of them made me feel secure enough." Said the 43-year-old.
When asked if Khloe decided to give him another chance if he'd jump through hoops to make it work? Lamar was quick to respond confidently.
"I'd be like, ‘Where? When?' Of course, I would," he shared before adding, "I’m not a loser and I felt like I lost. I would love to just take Khloe out to dinner,[But] I’m too shy and I’m a Scorpio and I hate being told no or being denied. I’m just afraid."
Holding his head in his hand and tearing up, Lamar went ahead to praise Khloe as he mused that "she was a good wife... She was protective, wanted to protect me."
However during the special of the show which premiered yesterday the former NBA player said he hasn't reached out about a friendly meal or meeting.
Reason being? He is deathly scared of her turning him down.
"I'm too shy and I'm a Scorpio and I hate being told ‘no' and being denied, honestly I'm afraid," Lamara revealed.
The two were married for 4 years after only 30 days of dating and throughout Lamar made appearances on the family's reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians as well as starred in the spin-off that the two had dubbed Khloe & Lamar.
He finished off by stating that regardless of what happens with him and his ex-wife he is hopeful Khloe will find the right man as she raises two kids 4-year-old daughter True and a 4-month-old son that she shares with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
"Hopefully the next guy in her life will do a lot better. Hopefully, she learned from me and Tristan." Lamar emotionally said.
