Christiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is finally opening up about the tragic loss of their baby boy.
The two lost one of their twin baby's last year in April, a moment the famous football player highlighted as, "the worst experience of his entire life since his father passed away back in 2005."
Now in Georgina's new Netflix show dubbed, 'I Am Georgina" that was released yesterday, (15th, March 2023) the mother of 2 relieved the tragic moment as she broke into tears.
The show focuses on her daily life as a mom of 5 (2 of her kids with CR7 and 3 others that the footballer had before their union), social media influencer with over 47 million followers, a businesswoman, and a partner of the most famous soccer star in the world
“Over 40 million people follow me, but no one knows how I really feel,” she notes at the top of the trailer before the video dives into the luxe life she leads as a social media influencer.
Despite the allure that her glamorous lifestyle affords her, the trailer hints that it cannot shield her from all.
Speaking about the loss the couple suffered in April last year, 29-year-old Georgina sadly said, "this year I had the best and the worst moment of my life in an instant.... I get it that life is hard but life goes on. And I have reasons to move on and be strong."
In that specific segment as she speaks the video shows the soccer superstar with their newborn baby, Bella Esmeralda as his girlfriend goes on to heap praises on him.
Georgina praised CR7 for being there for her even though he was also breaking she highlighted that he was a rock for her as they did their best to return to normalcy.
"Cris really encouraged me to continue with my agenda," Georgina revealed before adding," he said, 'Gio, get on with life. It will do you good.'"
A less emotional Georgina then goes on to highlight that she's currently focused on her family as she pointed out that she was currently in a happy state in her life.
"My priority right now is my family and my children, I'm so happy and thankful." Said the social media influencer.
Following the death of their son, Cristiano Ronaldo announced the sad news to his legions of fans and followers, through his social media platforms as he asked for privacy as they tried to maneuver through the loss.
The 37-year-old Portuguese international revealed that he and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, had delivered their twin babies (a girl and a boy) but unfortunately their son had died.
"We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you."
Last year in November CR7 got candid during a sit-down with Piers Morgan where he explained what it was like to be overcome with both joy and devastation after welcoming his baby girl and mourning the loss of his son at the same time.
"When you have a kid, you expect that everything will be normal," Cristiano said, adding "and when you have that problem, it's hard. As human beings, me and Georgina had quite difficult moments, because we don't understand why it happened to us. It was difficult, to be honest, it was very, very difficult to understand what's going on in that period of our life."
Ronaldo said despite all the pain he was going through, soccer continued to demand his time which was another challenge he faced during his healing.
The footballer maintained the whole ordeal was so hard to process leave alone explain to people.
"It's hard to explain -- so difficult -- You don't know if you cry, you don't know if you smile, Because it's something you don't know how to react. You don't know what to do to be honest." Revealed CR7
