He first rose to fame in 2012 after he released the hit “Like to Party”
The man has bagged two awards; the album of the year with Love, Damini, and the artist of the year with Last Last.
Burna Boy is set to go on a tour from April all the way to June in honour of his current album “Love, Damini”
It is the second album to go BRIT-certified Silver. He will be in Dallas, Oakland, Paris, Miami, Portugal, London, Arnhem, and Denmark.
Late January 2023 the hit “Last Last” had sold over 1 million units in the US. The artist is the first African to earn two solo Platinum singles from RIAA.
Early March his “African Giant” album had over 600+ million streams on Spotify. The Grammy Award winner also performed at the 2023 NBA halftime show in mid-February.
“It was amazing, I had dreams of playing in the NBA as a kid but you know, I got to perform at the NBA, I guess I made it either way,” he said.
He is also set to perform at the Champions League final in Istanbul come June.
