Celebrities who graced the launch of Bensoul’s much-anticipated Album [Photos]

On Thursday Night, all roads led to The Alchemist in Westlands for the official launch of Bensoul’s first studio album dubbed ‘Lion of Sudah’.

Being the ‘Medicine man’ he is, Bensoul strategically launched his album on April 20, 2023 –complete with a tune dubbed 4:20 to crown it all.

Papa Soul has put out a masterpiece that has a total of 15 songs with collaborations from stars like; Bayanni, Bien, Savara, Fancy Fingers, Wanavokali, and Juma Jux.

Other superstars found in Bensoul’s album are Muthaka, Lavosti, Hornsphere, AfroNautiq, Xenia Manasseh, Charisma, H_art the Band’s Mordecai Dex, and Okello Max.

Fans and celebrities turned up in large numbers to accord the singer support as he unveiled his 15-track body of work to the world.

The album launch enjoyed the presence of stars like Sauti Sol’s Bien, Sol Generation Manager Nanjero, Anyiko Awoko, Nviiri the Storyteller, Muthoni the Drummer Queen, Ajib Gathoni, Manaseh, Gudah Man, Iyanii, Kiss FM Nimrat Kaur, Homeboyz Radio’s Quellie Odero, Sammy Boy, Mordecai Dex, Okello Max, Muthaka, Xenia Manasseh among others.

Those present at the launch were treated to great performances from Bensoul and some of the artistes featured in the album like Bien, Okello Max, Muthaka, JukeBox, and Xenia Manasseh.

During his stage time, Bensoul performed a number of his hit songs and also some new tracks available in the Lion of Sudah album.

Bensoul has released an album at a time he says plans are underway for him to exit Sol Generation and establish his empire as a solo artiste.

He mentioned that his exit from Sol Generation is going to be a smooth transition.

“We have found ways of making a very smooth transition into me being independent and I have my own team.

"Considering everything that I have learned at Sol Generation I feel like I’m ready to handle my own empire and make sure I take care of other artistes on the way.

“I feel like I’m in a better place and I really want to be on my own- work on my life, my career, and everything," Bensoul said.

Bensoul was officially introduced as a Sol Generation signee back in February 2019.
