Kenyan TikToker Brian Chira has for the first time revealed what happened to the individual who infected him with HIV/AIDS.
In an interview with Massawe Japanni, Chira says the 'friend' took his/her own life.
"The guy who infected me took his life."
Chira says it took three tests for him to finally admit he was HIV positive.
"We did the first, second, and third tests to confirm the results. It cried and caused drama but the nurse calmed me down."
The bubbly content creator says he has some regrets among them going to the trip that Got him infected.
"My biggest regret is me being Positive, the stigma I get is bad, Other times I wish I did not go for that trip. I wish I never took the ARVs on TitTok live."
Narrating how he got infected, Chira says he was sexually abused after going out with some 'friends'
"There are people who like having fun, I did not have money at the time.. These friends of mine told me to go with them to Mombasa.
After getting we had drinks and we might have taken a bit too much and that is when things went haywire.
After realizing what had happened (rape) I immediately came back to Nairobi."
He was put on medication immediately, sadly the nurse did not give him proper instructions on how to take the medication hence he ended up being infected with HIV.
