Gospel singer Nicah the Queen has fired back at her ex-lover Dr Ofweneke after he shared details of how their relationship ended.
In an interview with Oga Obinna, Ofweneke alleged that his relationship with Nicah ended amicably after realizing that they were not compatible with each other.
The funnyman shared that he called it quits on the relationship at a time when the two were watching Netflix at home.
"I loved Nicah so much that I forgot myself. But the day I rediscovered myself is the day I told her mama, it's been a good stretch. Actually, we were holding hands watching Netflix. We were in the house, the kids were there, my brother and sister,” Dr Ofweneke said in part.
However, in a quick rejoinder, Nicah the Queen seemed to differ with her baby daddy on how the relationship ended.
The Ushuhuda hitmaker made it clear that she doesn’t feel dumped but instead she is the one who always leaves the relationship.
“Oh boy! Don’t get me started. We both know I don’t get dumped…I do the dumping. It’s crazy what people convince themselves to feel better,” she said in part.
Nicah went on to state that she has receipts of how their relationship ended and therefore her Ex should not dare her to spill the beans.
“Someone tell Dr Ofweneke to not dare me!! I have receipts🤣🤣🤣🤣 we both know the truth🤣🤣🤣🤣 sips tea!!! I think my second name should be "an ex one can never forget!" I'm a stamp baby🤪 #Jesusgurl @ogaobinna I think we should have a sit-down,” Nicah warned.

During the interview with Obinna, Ofweneke acknowledged that they were not perfect for each other and it was important that they parted ways.
"We were not perfect for each other... I remember that day that I left I remember God was laughing in my ear, this was not the marriage he had planned for me. She is a good woman, amazing but she is not the person I planned out for you. So you went with aesthetics, while I was going for the calling," he told of his discussion with God.
In April this year, Dr. Ofweneke said that given a chance he can’t MC Nicah the Queen’s wedding with current fiancé DJ Slahver
“I will not MC Nicah’s wedding because I am very much married which is something in the public and it will be disrespectful to my wife and I don’t think in any way that can be understood," Ofweneke stated.
Later, Nicah questioned why her Ex-lover Dr Ofweneke would not take up such an offer if he loved his job.
“Someone ask Dr Ofweneke kwani hapendi kazi yake???…Wee leta Rate Card Wacha siasa UKuje utuchezeshe mimi na Slahver urudi kwa bibi yako Jioni!! #Jesusgurl,” Nicah the Queen said.
During the conversation, Dr Ofweneke also ruled out the possibility of rekindling his love with Nicah saying that the chapter was closed a long time ago
Despite their breakup, Nicah and Ofweneke do co-parent.

In November 2019, Dr Ofweneke made it clear that his broken marriage had nothing to do with his kids and that’s why he has embraced co-parenting with baby mama Nicah the Queen.
